
This Sausage Pasta is quick and easy, great for a weekend meal. Have this recipe completed and on the table in less than 20 minutes. This is a delicious comfort meal packed with tasty sausage, shredded parmesan cheese, nutrient dense spinach and most importantly – it’s gluten free. Enjoy down to the last bite or reheat for an easy leftover meal.


Gluten Free Sausage Pasta
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Sausage
- 1 lb Gluten Free Penne Pasta*
- 2 Tbsp Avocado Oil
- 1 small onion
- 2-3 cloves garlic
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2-3 cups mixed baby greens or spinach heaping
- 1/2 cup shredded parmesan
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the gluten free penne pasta in a pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions
- Heat oil in a pan, add diced onions and garlic.
- Once the onions are partially cooked, add sausage. Cook until the sausage cooked through and is no longer pink.
- Add cream and spinach. Cook until the spinach is wilted and cooked through.
- Add parmesan cheese and stir in until melted. Salt and pepper to taste.
- Add penne pasta to the sausage mixture.
- Serve immediately.
