
Sweet potatoes are the perfect side dish for roast, chicken or just plain! With just a few common pantry ingredients you can have these ready to eat in no time!
One of the best ways to eat sweet potatoes is by roasting them.

How do I roast sweet potatoes?
Peel your sweet potatoes and cut into 1-2 inch cubes. Smaller cubes will result in a quicker cooking time and may turn out a little crispier.
Toss sweet potatoes with oil and spices. My go-to spice variation is garlic and smoked paprika (regular paprika works too!)
Bake until crispy!

Should I peel my sweet potatoes
I go back and forth on this one. It’s really a personal preference, but sweet potato skins are edible. Try it both ways and see which one you prefer.


Roasted Sweet Potatoes
Ingredients
- 3-4 sweet potatoes
- 3 Tbsp avocado oil
- ½ tsp paprika smoked or regular
- ¼ tsp garlic granules
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°
- Add parchment paper to a large baking sheet
- Peel and cube sweet potates.
- Place cut sweet potates on the prepared tray
- Add oil and spices on top
- Toss to coat and then spread out evenly on tray
- Cook 40 minutes or until they are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Stir halfway once through cooking.
